Pet care experience
I work from home, so I would be with your pup full time! My household is myself and my husband on an 11-acre ranch. I've walked and cared for dogs of all sizes, up to a 200-lb Mastiff, as well as many breeds, ages, and needs. What my clients love about me is my keen attention to detail. I take note of subtle changes in behavior and health and make sure to provide detailed updates. Having been a dog mom myself, I understand how important our fur babies are to us, so I always err on the side of too much information (I'm not shy about getting nitty gritty about poop!). I have also had a number of clients tell me that their normally people-selective pups warmed up to me very quickly. I get to know each dog's unique personality and needs and try to find ways to make walks and playtime the most fun and rewarding for them, including incorporating a little training into walks and visits.

Joyce is a very well, composed dog sitter! My partner and I went to Hawai’i for 8 days and Joyce was more than happy to accommodate my 90lb, unaltered, Pitbull/Presa Caniro, Tonka! Joyce gave me updates and plenty of pictures. This is the longest I haven’t been with my dog and it gave me slight anxiety; and Joyce reassured us that he was happy, and Tonka was getting his needed, adequate amount of exercise. He is a trekker/hiker! As a professional of working 4 years amoungst canines, I am happy to reassure anybody that Joyce and her husband are awesome for opening their nature sanctuary to all lovable pups! Joyce was amazing! I was nervous about having to leave my dog, who has never been been away from us and was a rescue dog and tends to be nervous around new people. But Joyce would send updates on how Sadie was doing and adjusting and would send pictures often, which made me feel better knowing she was doing fine
Joyce, as always, was amazing with our (big) little Pepper! She is one of the most wonderful and compassionate people we have ever met – and we know that our Pep is treated like family when staying here. We received frequent text and photo updates to share how Pep was adjusting. Traveling can be hard on a pet, unless your pet is lucky enough to stay with Joyce. Then, your pet may not want to leave (lookin' at you, Pepper.) We are already looking forward to our next stay with Joyce! Thank you for another wonderful visit.
Joyce was amazing! We used her for a few days to go to a wedding. She treated my boys like they were her own and gave them lots of pets and walks. She gave them their medication on time and not to mention, my dog who is a super picky eater, ate every single one of his meals at her house for the first time in a long time. Joyce sent updates and pictures often which really helped ease our minds while we were gone. We hands down will be using Joyce again. My dogs loved her!
