I’ve dedicated my whole life to taking care of pups, so making them as happy as can be is simply my expertise! I was always inspired by pups to give back however I can, so getting to be a dog sitter really is a dream come true for me. Their unconditional love and openness has just always been something that I’ve tried to emulate my whole life! I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, but my experience with dogs doesn’t just end there! I have a passion for taking care of at-risk and/or special needs dogs. I took care of two rescue Yorkies for ten years, and taking care of them was just one of the most rewarding experiences possible. I love being able to help a pup feel as good as possible, and pups that need a little extra love seem to always appreciate you all the more for your help. It’s such an amazing thing to be able to help nurse a pooch back to health, so my arms are open to pups of any stripe! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When your pup is under my care, my number one goal is to provide you and your pooch with a sense of comfort and safety. To me, the best way to do that is through excellent communication. It starts before I start looking after your pup by getting as much information as I can about you, your pooch, and your care expectations. That way, I can start designing your pup’s dream stay as early as possible! When your pup is with me, you can expect regular updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! I’m happy to keep owners up-to-date on anything from feeding times to exercise to behaviors.
