****Unfortunately, I am very allergic to cats so if your family includes friends of the feline variety I will not be able to accept requests from your family. ***** My friends and family all call me the dog whisperer. I grew up with 2 black labs and when they both passed, I became a foster mom for the Human Society for 4 years. Being a foster mom for dogs means that you get the joy of helping sick and injured pups recover so they can find their forever homes. I loved doing this. It was such a challenge and a joy to see these dogs get better, come out of their shells, and go home with a loving family. Fostering also gave me a chance to get to know and love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I started dogsitting when I lived in a place where I couldn't have my own dog. Now I've moved and can have pets in my place but I enjoy dog sitting so much that I have not gotten my own dog but now welcome dogs to stay with me in my house.

I had a last minute need for care due to a family emergency. Joy was very accommodating and took care of Queen as if she was her own. She sent pictures and regular updates to give us a piece of mind that Queen was in great care and allow us one less thing to worry about in our troubling times. I strongly recommend Joy for your sitter needs.
Joy was awesome, good communications with daily pictures and the dogs seemed to have a great time! Would definitely recommend and would definitely love for Joy to take care of our dogs again.
Joy did a great job with my two pups and kept me informed throughout the stay. She was also very flexible with pick up/drop off. I would definitely recommend her.
Joy was absolutely wonderful with our dog. She was there for 10 days and I didn't worry at all! My dog seemed so comfortable with Joy from the very first time she met her. Joy was wonderful about communicating and sending pictures. She even went above and beyond when my dog got an ear infection. I 100% recommend Joy and will be using her in the future!!

For Boarding: I am looking forward to making your dogs vacation as great as yours! To keep them safe while I'm away I require that their pet parents bring their crate with them. I only crate pup friends when I leave but I've found that dogs sometimes get anxious when left alone in a strange place and so it's best to crate them so they can't accidentally hurt themselves. In general, I want to know what your dog loves to do, what they are allergic to, any medicines they are on, do they get along well with other dogs, are they afraid of anything, and most importantly what does their routine look like!! I want to make sure that they feel safe and at ease as much as possible while you are gone.
A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood and playtime are some of my favorite things to do with pups. I also love to cuddle and give some good belly rubs.
