Pet care experience
Hello I’m Joy. I live in Coralville in 965 Flats Apartments where I work remote for the University of Iowa. I have been passionate about pets my whole life! My family always had pets; dogs, cats, birds, etc while I was growing up. I am very outgoing, I love taking my dog Rosy to the parks and on walks. I want to see more happy more happy tails in the neighborhood! I’m looking forward to meeting your pup, and getting them out for much needed exercise or just some nice couch cuddles and scratches!

Joy and her two chihuahuas welcomed Kili to their home and took great care of him for a week while we took a vacation. She was prompt, flexible, and willing to drive to us to pick him up/drop him off. Will definitely use Joy’s services the next time we plan a trip!
Joy was a true joy for my pups! She came to our home to walk (or to play with the boys when it was too cold/snowy). She was always so kind and the boy were ALWAYS happy to see her (dogs never lie)!

My apartment has a fenced dog park area, as well as plenty of sidewalk paths for walks in every direction. I have crates if your pet finds kenneling comfortable, or many sizes of dog beds in most every corner.

I love all fur babies! I’ve completed an internship in a veterinary office, decided medicine wasn’t for me, but I still love animals! My chihuahua mix doesn’t discriminate, she’ll play with all dogs alike.
A typical day
In the past while boarding I have taken pets on multiple daily walks, allowing lots of time for sniffs. Pets who are able I’ve taken to nearby off-leash dog parks for socialization and sprints.

Availability
I work remote from the University of Iowa, so I’m at your pets beck and call! Just my chihuahua mix, Rosy and I will take at least 2 walks a day. I am flexible to what your pet needs; lots of walks to lap time cuddles!
