Pet care experience
Hello! I am the quintessential animal lover. I greatly enjoy caring for animals and making sure they are safe, healthy, and happy. Throughout my life, my family and I have rescued and raised a total of 9 dogs across a variety of ages, sizes and breeds (from Pit Bulls, Labs, to Pekingese!) starting when I was a wee 4 years old. I have also fostered pets with the Milo Foundation. I provide a clean, safe and loving home, a large fenced yard, walks, hugs, toys and treats! I love sharing lots photos and videos of your babies during the stay, and updating you on our activities and where we walk. Before a stay, my boys, Spartacus (11 lb. Chihuahua/Yorkie mix), and Cowboy (12 lb. Bichon Frise/Mini Schnauzer) would love to meet and greet with your babies to determine if they will be good roomies for an overnight or doggie daycare. I did more meet and greets and worried more finding a dog sitter than I did when I put my son in daycare. Our sweet pup Stella is a former shelter dog so we knew boarding in a kennel environmental would not be best for her. She loves her people to be home most of the time so I knew it would be hard to find someone who was home all day... then came Joy... We met up at a nearby park, she brought one of her own pups to meet us. Just talking to her I knew Joy was a dog lover. I canceled another meet and greet I had and decided to book with Joy. Stella was at Joy's home for 10 days! That is longest we've been away from our girl. Joy sent plenty of pics and videos which we appreciated. I'm so lucky to have found Joy and her family. We home she will welcome Stella into her home again this summer!
Joy did so much more than what I expected from a petsitter. I work late so needed a petsitter to take care of my pup for me until my work ends 9-10pm. Joy was accommodating to this so this allows me to pick up my little one when my work ends around 10pm. While petsitting my dog Amber, Joy sent me frequent photo and text updates. She even kept a thorough log about what Amber did throughout the day! Amber also got to play with more toys, puzzles, agility tunnels, etc. more than she ever did at home. I will continue to send Amber to Joy and highly recommend Joy as a petsitter.
Joy watched our dog Marley for six days while out of town for a wedding. Joy was amazing and sent us constant updates of how Marley was doing. We couldn’t have felt more secure about the care our dog was receiving. Joy will be our future care giver for any upcoming trips we have. Experience couldn’t have been any better!
Joy is a very responsible and caring individual who loves dogs. She's always concerned about their well-being and is very attentive to their needs. I trust Joy totally.

A typical day
We can go for walks (around the neighborhood, nearby trails, blacktop paths only to avoid foxtails!), we can play catch, we can practice on tricks or learn new ones, we'll take lots of pictures to send to dog parents, and/or we can relax at home and listen to puppy classical music.
