I had a bichon for over 10 years and have been fostering both elder dogs and puppies for about 6 months. I have experience administering medications, so will be able to accommodate animals with special needs. My first foster dog was a blind 15-yr old poodle and needed eye drops for his cataracts 2x/day. I also have personal experience with basic training in an adult dog and a 4-mos puppy.

A typical day
I live by the Hudson, so love taking walks along there when the weather is nice. If I see that the dog is restless, I take him/her to the fenced doggy park (with the owner's permission) in North Bergen and burn off their energy.

Availability
I work from home, so have a very flexible schedule. I'm able to walk dogs throughout the day or have the dog be dropped off at my place to day-sit usually on a short notice.
