I am a pet care professional who believes "good enough" is not good enough. I believe in building a relationship with furry friends as much as with their owners, and I treat each pet as if it is my own while they are under my care. I have owned and worked with animals for over 15 years and my experience is extensive. I have worked in shelters and veterinarian offices alike and managed daycare, boarding and grooming facilities. I have also walked dogs professionally from the bustling sidewalks in the heart of Boston to the winding wooded paths of more rural settings. For a short while I ran a dog rescue out of my home and I have adopted out numerous pets through that same rescue and through abandonment cases left behind at other facilities where I was employed. My personal quest for knowledge brought me to Mt. Ida College (Newton, MA) where I received my grooming certificate. Over the years, my specialty became grooming dogs who have been labeled too hard to handle and given up on due to things like fear, aggression and unruliness. Through proper communication and behavior modification I build their trust so they are capable of being groomed by my, and eventually by others.
