Hi! I absolutely love dogs and cats and have a fur baby myself (a young, high energy tabby cat). I’ve taken care of and lived with my family dog for 3 years and though she is on the other side of the country living with my parents, I miss her dearly and learned a lot about how to handle and train a small dog reactive to other dogs. I attend graduate school and have a flexible schedule so I can drop in several times a day to check on your pet. Please let me know if your dog or cat has any particular needs or aggression / potty-training issues that may arise so I can be aware of them beforehand. I look forwards to meeting your furry companion!

Joy has helped me take care of my dog multiple times now with no issues! She is very mindful of any potential hazards in my own apartment and has always made sure my dog was safe, both inside and outside when on walks. Joy has been super patient with my dog’s anxiety, I can trust her to take care of my dog for more than a week while I’m away on vacation. Definitely recommend her for shorter and longer stays. She’s also taken care of my friend’s cat and I’ve heard only good things from my friend!
Joy is such a joy! So kind, thoughtful, caring, and responsible! She was incredibly attentive to our instructions and we had an stress-free weekend away knowing our fur babies were in good hands. Our dogs loved her and we can’t wait to have her again soon.

Joy initially cared for my elderly cat while I was away for an extended trip. She was very attentive to my cat's needs, regularly sent pictures, general updates, and engaged with my cat in an age appropriate manner! After cat-sitting for me, she adopted her own cat, Aspen. Joy has set up a wonderful and stimulating environment for her own cat and it is clear how happy Aspen is at Joy's apartment. I am confident that Joy could readily care for any pet, regardless of their age or needs.

I’m able to drop in to visit and care for your pet several times a day on weekdays and weekends. I normally play with my cat 2 hours daily to make sure she sleeps through the night.
