Welcome to my profile, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. I treat every pet I meet as if they were my own, I will cherish them, enjoy them, and take care of them with the full understanding that they are beloved members of your family. I take your trust very seriously, and appreciate you sharing your furry family members with me. I specialize in pet sitting in your home. I have overnight availability seven days a week, including holidays. Your pets will appreciate staying in the comfort of their own homes, while you are free to focus on your travels, knowing that your family members are being loved and cared for. I always leave your home cleaner than I found it, including washing my used linens, remaking my bed, removing all garbage, and making sure the kitchen, bathroom, and other common areas that I used are neat and tidy. While you're away, I'll keep you updated with texts, phone calls, and plenty of pictures, so that you never feel out of touch. You can rest assured I will care for your pets like the treasured family members they are! The longer I am in the pet care business, the more I love senior pets. All pets are special, and these older ones deserve every ounce of love and care that they’ve provided their family members over the years. Big, small, young, old, cats, dogs; I love them all and will treat them like they are my own for the time we are together. I love being outside, and am more than willing to take your dog(s) on longer outings. I am happy to adjust walk lengths - you and your pup(s) are never restricted to thirty minutes! Simply send me a message, and we can customize a plan for your dog(s). Whatever type of care you’re looking for, I’d love to hear from you, learn about your pets, and set up a meet and greet. I pride myself on responding to all requests quickly, and can usually schedule meet and greets within 24-48 hours of your first contact. Joy is extremely thorough and thoughtful. She provides awesome updates and takes SEVERAL photos of our pup during their walks. She gives us really detailed summaries of their time spent and it truly puts me at ease, which is all you could ever hope for. If I’m in a pinch or just need regularly scheduled walks, Joy is my go-to!

I love learning all about your dog. What are their likes/dislikes? Do they have any special commands? Are there any favorite paths or activities? Do they have any medical concerns? Are there any behavioral issues/quirks etc. that I should be aware of? I want to know any and all information that will help me to provide your pet with the best care possible. I love all dogs, big and small, I do not discriminate against any breeds! I also enjoy, and have experience with dogs of all ages, although senior pups have become particular favorites of mine.
A typical day
I love going on walks through the neighborhood! I will follow instructions on where and where not to walk, or, if you prefer, we’ll simply cruise your local streets. A thirty minute walk typically ranges from 0.6 mi for our most sniff-happy pups, to 1.1 mi for those who prefer to zip around the neighborhood. During walks I like to teach/reinforce leash manners. For example, having the dog(s) walk on the street side as opposed to people’s lawns, sitting at corners, discouraging peeing on lawn bags and garbage cans, etc. Its amazing to see how quickly dogs can take on great habits! While staying at your home, I love spending quality time with your pets. We sit outside, cuddle on the couch, go for walks, and if your dog is allowed, even share a bed. I enjoy every moment spent with pets, and am thrilled to see them happy, thriving, and comfortable.

Availability
After living in NJ for the past six years, I’m moving to Bethlehem to establish my pet care business in the Lehigh Valley. My schedule will revolve around pet care, with time for house sitting, walks, and drop ins. All of my bookings are professionally coordinated to ensure that the physical and social needs of all the animals in my care are met.
