I have been working with dogs and cats for about 8 years. I am currently a vet assistant so I work with animals everyday. I am very confident when it comes to animals and also the care of other people's pet's. I have done just about everything from surgery to medications to scooping yards in the kennels. My long term goal is to open up my own boarding and daycare facility. I would love to give all animals a home away from home that they will love coming back to. I enjoy walking dogs, playing fetch and even cuddling with the shy pups. I also have a lab who is about 1 yr old so I can handle all the crazy puppy energy as well.

Josie was wonderful with Roc! From the beginning she went out of her way to make his stay enjoyable even though it was over the Christmas holiday. She kept us updated throughout the weekend with texts and photos which were super sweet! We were almost worried Roc wouldn't want to come home, haha.
Josie was professional and accommodating for this stay. Our 8-month old lab/terrier mix is anxious and energetic, but had a great time with Josie and her dog Zoey. We appreciated the updates and pictures we received while we were away, and it was great to know that our pup was receiving the exercise and attention she needs. I would recommend Josie to a friend looking for someone to look after their dog.

I require all pets to be up to date on Rabies vaccine [state law] and would like to have a copy on hand. Pets also have to be current on a monthly flea/tick medication. Also if there are any behavior issues with other pets I would like to know those things ahead of time. Please lest me know if your pet is not spayed or neutered.
A typical day
I enjoy trail walking so I would take pets for long walks. Also have a extra long swimming lead so can take them swimming when it is warm.
