Pet care experience
In 10+ years of dog training I think I've seen it all! Any breed is fine, no force or fear needed! My own dog is a rescue rottweiler that started out very reactive, stubborn and strong, and now a couple months in and she is a different dog! I know first hand how exhausting leash pulling, reactivity, barking or other behaviors can be. Your dog is the priority and I will find an exercise outlet that works well for them, be hiking, swimming, tug or fun tricks training, so that they will feel satisfied, receptive to learning, and calm when you get home. Since I work with dogs full time, I can give your dog the patience and time they need and send them home to you with custom techniques and videos that are proven to work with your dog.

The most amazing experience I ever had on Rover ♥️ Josie was so so so sweet to my dog Stella and I felt so at peace leaving stella for 3 days with her. She send me updates and pictures that made my time away so much easier. And, I could tell when I pick Stella up how much she loved Josie. I will definitely want to book her again.
If you’re able to book Josie, you are lucky! I’ve never felt better about leaving my puppy with a sitter. Josie is so considerate and responsive. I’d highly recommend her to anyone!
Josie did a great job with our dog. She took her for hikes and walks all week! When we picked her up she was cleaned up and happy. We will use her again for sure!

In beautiful La Honda your dog will enjoy calm and nature. The yard is not fenced so I will keep your dog on long leash. My dog is friendly and rambunctious, and we have extra rooms in case your dog grows tired of her. I am also able to walk them separately if that is preferred.

What concerns or frustrates you about your dog? We can work through a training plan and goals. I would also like to know how your dog is with my dog before dropping off, she is very friendly but we need to make sure they are both comfortable! It'd also be nice to speak with you and you could come see the house if it would make you more comfortable.
A typical day
Whatever your dog likes! We will work on training in a realistic way through slowing down on daily activities. Long walks and hikes with my dog, trips to the dog park, practicing obedience or cuddling up on my bed all day.

Availability
My whole day is based around my dog! We go for a hike every morning and evening and I am home to give breaks in the backyard throughout the day. Your dog will be very satisfied and receptive to training sessions throughout the day. We will discuss any concerns or frustrations you have with our dog and work through them in a fear and force free way.
