Pet care experience
Lots of time to snuggle, go for walks, hang out with your pup/pups. I have experience with pet grooming, stubborn animals, shy animals, lazy animals, rowdy animal and come from a family with all shapes and sizes of dogs. Love being outside! Very timely, responsible and attentive to detail. Very cautious with security measures (e.g. making sure house doors are locked, fences closes, porch lights on at night, toys are pet friendly, etc.) Not shy when it comes to talking/singing to pets... they are the best listeners/audience after all! Spouse is also a dog lover (and slightly more energetic/plays fetch/rough houses with more playful pups) and will often help/join in with pet care.

Josie was fabulous with our pups while we were out of town! This was our first time using Rover as we typically board them in a kennel, but our dogs clearly did not enjoy going to the kennel so we thought we’d try a drop-in sitter. Hopefully we never have to take them back to the kennel again! This worked out so well - Josie was so easy to work with on the visit schedule & we could tell when we got home that our dogs were cared for and happy. Couldn’t have asked for better!

Are they familiar with being around kids and other dogs? We have three kids that LOVE dogs but we like to make sure your pups have had good experiences with kids, let me know if keeping your dog separate from kids would be preferred. We have a separate back room we can make more private for children weary dogs.

I am a stay at home mama so my schedule is very relaxed! My husband is my second set of hands when it comes to caring for our visitors. He is great with keeping up with our active dog guests. He also the one who might greet you at our door!
