Pet care experience
I grew up in a household filled with animals and have been relied on to feed, walk, play with and pick up after pets of all sizes since I was a child. My current home does not allow for pets so I often look after friends' animals to get my dose of affection from furry friends.

I can happily endorse Josh as a dog caretaker. Josh used to watch my dog Suvi for me occasionally while I was away. He probably did so around a dozen times and took excellent care of her every time. When my pup had a flare up of her chronic condition, Josh called me immediately and was very proactive about taking care of her per my instructions and keeping me updated.
Josh has helped take care of my dog, Macie when he lived in the area. He was so good with her and you can see his love for animals, even with my very needy doggo! Macie loves cuddling and playing with Josh, and he’s so great with her. 20 out of 5 stars for Josh!

When meeting a new dog or cat I make sure to take a moment to acquaint myself with the animal to create a safe space for both of us. Then I make sure to familiarize myself with the location of the pet's food and water, along with any guidelines shared by the owner (feeding schedule, areas that are off limits for myself and/or the pet, walking routine and route, etc.). From there I can begin caring for the pet based on the owner's instructions, whether that includes walks, bathing, administration of medicine or general care. Once the requested service has been completed I make sure to secure the pet as instructed by the owner and to leave the home as clean and tidy as I found it.

It would like to know what the dog's walking and feeding schedules are, as well as any important behavioral quirks I should know about (i.e. not good around other dogs, likes to jump up on counters, is incontinent).
A typical day
Some activities I like to do with the dogs I watch are fetch, long-walks, relaxing on the couch, etc. It also depends on what a particular dog is able and willing to do.

I work remote most days and have a very flexible work schedule. I am able to provide walking, check-in and sitting services morning, noon and night, seven days a week!
