Pet care experience
My wife and I have been dog owners for over 10 years. We have three dogs and one cat, so it's pretty safe to say we're more dog people, lol, but we love cats too! We've had two of our dogs since they were puppies (plenty of puppy experience!) and the other dog and the cat are both rescues. Our pets range in size from 5 lbs up to 90 lbs so we are comfortable with any size or age dog. One of our dogs is elderly now, so we also have experience with a wide age range, and have no problem taking care of older dogs. Because we have children, we are unable to offer boarding in our home, but would love to care for your "fur children" while you're away and would treat them just like our own!! We both work full-time so most of our availability is around the weekends and holidays. But if you need drop-in visits during the weekday, I'm sure we can make it happen! We've had the experience of trying to find someone to dog sit when we go out of town, and it's pretty difficult to find someone reliable who you can also trust to take care of your dogs. Now that we're in a position to do, we're just trying to pay it forward and provide others the same care and comfort with their pets as others have done for us! And of course, we're always open to a meet and greet ahead of time to calm any nerves and see how everyone gets along.

Dear Pet Owner: I have known Joshua for essentially all of his life. I have observed his strong love of dogs, other peoples as well as his own. He has been my sitter of choice for my dogs over the years. Regardless of size of the pet, he works with them well. He gives them a lot of personal attention, playing with them, walking them, and is attentive to their food/water/medical needs. Joshua is extremely reliable and will attend to the pet as scheduled without exception. I would strongly recommend him to dog sit your pet, allowing you the opportunity to enjoy your time away without worry, knowing that your pet is receiving exceptional personal care.

No breed or size preferences. We would like to know how your dog reacts around strangers and other dogs and if he/she exhibits any aggressive or territorial tendencies. We'd also like to know if your dog has any special needs or just anything in particular that is unique to your dog and what he/she likes.
A typical day
We're willing to go on walks pretty much anywhere, though we'd prefer to avoid heavily trafficked areas as much as possible, so sidewalks, quiet neighborhoods, or parks are preferred. If you don't like in any of those areas, we'd be happy to drive your pup to a good area for walking and playing if that's okay with you. If your dog is interested in fetch (ours aren't) that's always a good time. Or sometimes, just some rolling in the grass with a nice belly rub does the trick.
