Friend of pets and humans! I pride myself in providing a fun safe loving experience for your pet fam! I love building positive ongoing relationships with each fur friend, and their families. I am very easygoing but pay great attention to exactly what you need from me. I have cared for a large variety of dogs from many different backgrounds like rescue dogs who have been abused by men, anxiously disordered dogs, un-trained/aggressive dogs, dementia disordered dogs and geriatric/fragile friends. If your fur friend requires extra attention for challenging conditions or behaviors let me know the details up front so I can be informed and prepare for a great experience for all of us. ______________________________________________________________________________ "Petspectations": Thanks for being interested in using me! I have taken some time to write how I generally do things by default. If you aren't sure about something that you think you might want or see yourself wanting in the future, do not feel embarrassed to bring it up! It has probably been asked before and we can work together to figure out what how best you can be taken care of! | Drop Ins | I do morning drop ins between 9am-10:30, Afternoons between 12pm-5pm, and evenings between 6pm-9pm. I am not currently able to cater to strict schedules or exact times at the moment unless there are special needs / disabilities / health issues involved. Instead I will drop in within those time ranges! | House Sitting | For house sitting I will take care of your pet family while you are away! I will not leave your home for more than 5-6 hours at a time. | Communication | I make it a goal to send a nice photo collage documenting your pet's day each day! I always strive to respond to pet parents as soon as I am able, usually within a few hours. If anything unusual comes up I will let you know immediately. Note: I am not able to give updates throughout the whole day, usually I will send 2 per day and will text if something comes up on either of our ends. Some parents need constant communication, but I am not able to provide that at my current rate at this time. If this is satisfactory, that’s great!

Josh was great with our 2 French bulldogs and great with our home. He was communicative and our boys enjoyed their time with him! Highly recommend.
Both our dogs really enjoyed Joshua! He stayed at our home for several nights and sent us daily photo updates. I would recommend Joshua to anyone - We definitely will be booking with him in the near future!
Joshua seemed to do a great job! We loved the updates and pictures from him. He watched our dogs in our house for almost a week while on vacation and we would be glad to have him help with our dogs again!
Joshua watched my dog at my apartment while I was out of town and he took very good care of my pup and my home! I’m very happy with his services and will definitely ask him to take care of my dog again!

| Safety, trust & environment | I work to ensure the safety of your babies by following rover's safety rules and more importantly YOUR guidance, because no one else knows your best friends better than you. We are a team! If your pup needs medication administered I can do this as well and please do let me know how much outside dog socializing you prefer with your doggos so I can be sure to watch carefully or plan accordingly. For my own safety/dignity I require any and all surveillance methods like cameras, microphones, neighbors, firend/family members watching / listening around while I am at your home be revealed to me up front. I cannot take clients who need indoor audio/video surveillance while I am in the house if I am “house sitting” (outdoor is fine). Indoor is perfectly okay if I am just doing drop ins or walks as I am not there for extended periods of time. All messages must be free from overt or passive forms of hostility. Let me know upfront of the nature of any destructive behaviors or continence issues due to anxiety or other conditions. I take fur babies with these issues all the time, just plz plz do not withhold that info from me! If you have ever had concerns about your pet biting people you agree to tell me this up front as well.

I love all animals but I REALLY enjoy bigger dogs. I have a history watching mastiffs, doberman's, pit bulls and other big girls / boys.
A typical day
I love playing keep away with dogs, catch, and practicing commands you may be trying to teach them! In my humble opinion animals are much smarter than we think and can understand us more often as well. I aim to ensure your pets will be entertained, not only looked after. And you will SEE it as I photo-document their day. I understand that if you are paying for a service for a family member, you want to feel they are being actively engaged with, not merely tolerated. We all know pets get bored and require some mental stimulation along with the basics in order to feel at ease. Please let me know your pet’s preferences on toys and other things that make them happy while you are away.

| My life | Right now pet sitting is my only "traditional" job, even though I do course work on my computer. That means in the odd situation that something happens, I can be there quickly for your family member. I also only accept jobs that are close to me for that very reason.
