When some people think of their dream house, they’re probably thinking about big, eat-in kitchens, backyard pools or a nice fireplace for cold winter nights. Not me -- ever since I was a little kid my dream house was one that would be full of dogs. I live in Kingstowne, which is a very dog-friendly neighborhood (there’a dog station every other block!). Our townhouse has a fenced yard.I like to take the pups I care for to the local dog park. Inside, your dog can wander and take a breather wherever they want. I also have two small, very friendly dogs who get along well with others and can play all day long! Before I worked with Rover, I worked at a pet store and volunteered at a shelter where I cared for dogs. I currently have a flexible schedule and can work from home when I want, which allows plenty of time for walks, runs and trips to the dog park. I think what makes me unique is that I always want to make sure any dog in my care feels good. I also like to stick to their routine, and will follow any specific instructions the owner has as to the care of their pup. Outside of that, I will treat them as if they were my dogs and show them with a lot of love, kisses, walks and belly rubs. My work schedule is very flexible. And I get to work from home the entire week whenever we have a major holiday, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have a fenced backyard and dog friendly dogs. Every time the dogs are in the backyard, I’m there with them to make sure they are safe. But I will follow any instructions from owners.
