I raised my own miniature schnauzer for twelve years in addition to befriending, and taking care of, my neighbor's puppy and dog for three weeks while she was on vacation. I have never had a negative experience with a dog and I always enjoy the time I spend with them, especially long (30 minute or more) walks around neighborhoods and local parks. If there is a schedule for feeding and walking I will do my best to follow it perfectly.
