Pet care experience
I grew up around animals a good part of my life. As a family we pretty much always had at least one family pet. I have experience with dogs and cats but feel confident following directions for almost any animals. In high school I house sit regularly, taking care of the home, yard work and providing caring for thier pets. I am dependable and work well with animals.

Thank you Joshua for his effort to watch our pets. It was not an easy situation as our pets needed care after we moved into our new home (within 1.25 week). Joshua made a plan with his Mother and Grandmother to help him and they did very well. The dogs and cat liked them all.
Josh was an excellent pet sitter! He was very attentive to their needs and ours, too! He checked in often and everyone was well cared for! Highly recommend!
Josh is reliable and and great with pets. My pets were comfortable with him and he went out of his way to make sure that they were happy and well taken care of. He pilled my cat, took care of my feral cats accidents, and took amazing care of my dog. We will be using him in the future!
Josh was a fantastic sitter for my high anxiety due baby. She’s a great dog but can be a lot. His concern for her well being and thorough questions regarding her care made me extremely comfortable. I left quite a letter of how best to take care of her and it didn’t seem to dissuade him at any point. Will be booking again!

General characteristics are nice to know. Do they not like strangers or other animals. Or do they like to try and escape the house or yard. Also, what are the natural tendencies throughout the day? Do they have any rhythms? This also helps me sense if something is wrong because they are not acting normal.
A typical day
I like to read the situation, because not all dogs like doing the same thing. I usually allow the pet to share with me what they like. If they want to play fetch or run around the yard, then we do that. Or if they just want some attention I'll pop on a TV show and pet them for long periods of time.

Availability
I just moved from Oregon as a full time missionary in the Salem area with a nonprofit called YWAM. Right now I'm looking for a good fit for work and doing projects on the side to sell for an extra buck. I do wood working and resin work. So I currently have a lot of flexibility as I can do all these things at my own pace. Thanks for reading.
