With more than 16 years of experience with pets, we're happy to care for your cats, dogs, fish, snakes, birds, turtles, or other furry/scaly friends! Pets bring such joy to life and it's our pleasure to help care for your animals while you're away. We will treat them as our own and offer them a safe, fun, and loving environment. Does your pet need daily medicine? We have extensive experience caring for sick and elderly animals. We're happy to accommodate their health needs. We offer flexibility with scheduling and also offer pick-up/drop off services ($5 up-charge, to pay for gas!) Amenities for your pets: - At least 2 walks per day (weather/temperature permitting; can walk more frequently for shorter durations for the small pups with tiny legs :] ) - Short hikes in Green Canyon (1-2 hours, with owner permission) - Frequent play sessions - Enrichment/puzzle toys for dogs and cats - Owner-approved treats and snacks throughout the day Specialty services: - Select grooming services, depending on your pet's temperament (brushing for cats/dogs, nail clipping for cats) - Daily medications Extra special services: Does your cat talk a lot? Has your cat had a stressful day "working from home" and needs to let off some verbal steam? Lindsay(Spouse) is excellent at mimicking cat noises. If your cat needs someone to talk at, she's your woman! Lindsay(Spouse) and I work remotely from home and keep a very close eye on all the pets. Weather permitting, we offer at least 2, 30 minutes walks per day for overnight dog guests and 2, 15-20 minute walks for daytime dog guests. Potty breaks, pets, and playtimes are frequent. Daycare in our home: We live in a townhome surrounded by lots of lush grass and very close to a large park with walking trails. All bathrooms and the pantry are closed off to pets, just in case they have craving for toilet water ;). All pets remain on-leash while outside. For Dogs: We have a 1 year old Samoyed (Murray) who LOVES company and play dates. We keep dogs confined to the first floor with us to ensure the doggos don't get into too much mischief. We also have 2 cats who are allowed to roam freely. They are tolerant of dogs but in general do not appreciate being chased. Please let us know ahead of time if your dog doesn't like cats so that we can plan accordingly. Potty breaks, pets, scratches, lovings, and playtimes are frequent. Overnight guests(dogs): We crate our dog at night and would do the same with your doggo. This ensures all pets remain safe while we're catching zzZZZzzs. For Cats: Cats will be on a rotating roaming schedule. We will ensure our cats do not have access to the main floor while your cat is roaming to ensure there are no scuffles. Overnight guests(cats): Overnight kitty guests will be crated in a 42 inch crate, containing food, water, bedding, toys, and litter box. Client home stays: We have 4 years of experience providing house/pet sitting for family friends. We understand that allowing a stranger into your home can make for a nervous experience. We make every effort to ensure you and your pets are comfortable with our presence in your home. For new clients, prior to finalizing a booking, we will set up a time to meet you and your pets in your home. This helps us determine if your pets will feel comfortable with us in their territory while you are away. Once confirmed, we ask that you walk us through your home, describe your pet's daily routine, inform us of any behavioral issues, and tell us how often you would like check-ins and in what format. We strive to provide the best and most minimally disruptive experience for you and your pets. We are happy to discuss any special requests or accommodations you have. During home stays, we are available by phone or text at any time of day should you want to see or talk to your furry friend(s) :)
