Dogs and cats are my daily routine. I have 4 dogs and 3 cats that take up every part of my life. Our animals eat three times a day. Your animals will RARELY be left alone. I do work, but there is always someone home. If I’m not home my wife or my mother in law are home and they are also huge animal lovers. I am the main contact but all three of us love animals and that means your pet will always have supervision!

I care for pets based on how you, as the owner, would prefer your animals to be taken care of. We feed our animals three times a day but we can adjust the schedule for your pet(s) accordingly. Both our dogs and cats are people and animal friendly. We don’t have kids running around so animals that struggle with kids are welcome here (of course we take kid friendly pets too). We take our dogs to the dog park and can bring your dogs along if requested but we completely understand if you’d prefer not to. As said, we really try to keep to what your animals are already accustomed to! You tell us and we follow through!

Information Joshua J. would like to know about your pet
If your pet(s) have any allergies or medications they need to take, please let me know and bring medications with you. I have experience with oral medications whether it’s pill form or liquid form. All of our dogs have special dietary needs so we can definitely do special diets as needed. Your dog does need to be up to date on vaccinations and you do need to let us know if your dog is fixed or not, especially if they are in heat! We do not want accidental pregnancies. Dogs in heat will receive constant supervision outside to ensure no accidental pregnancies occur. All of our dogs are fixed so that is a non issue inside the home. Any other special circumstances need to be communicated so we can accommodate. We will take care of high maintenance dogs (we love them too!), so don’t be afraid to tell us whatever your pets might need! We’re happy to accommodate and we do not hesitate to reach out if there are questions! You are the boss of what happens with your pets!!
A typical day
A typical day is food at 7:30am, 1:30pm, and 7:30pm. I work from 8-4 and my wife works from 8-5. My mother in law comes and hangs out at my house while we are working. Dogs go out every 1-2 hours to play in our fenced yard and have bathroom breaks. We tend to do the dog park once a week, sometimes 2-3 times. We do walks when the weather is appropriate (don’t wanna get burned paws or freeze to death). If weather is bad, we do play with toys inside the house and even have puzzle toys to keep them engaged. We do only feed treats and toys that you bring in order to avoid upset tummies or illness. On the small chance that your dog requires immediate veterinary care, we will make sure that happens and you WILL be told if something happens immediately. Otherwise we just hang out and enjoy each other’s company.

Pet care experience
I have been raising dogs and cats for my entire life. I’ve also worked with livestock. I love all animals, big or small and love to be surrounded by them. When I was living in Utah, I ran my own small animal rescue called Mountain Creek Animal Defense. When I moved, it had to be shut down but I was able to rescue numerous dogs, cats, and even a chicken! I have a lot of experience with animals that have a lot of anxiety and I’ve had dogs with physical disabilities. I also have a lot of experience with working dogs such as Belgian Malinois (I had 2 of my own). I’ve owned a 3 legged dog that required bandaging to keep her other leg strong and prevent it from collapsing underneath her. I can do dogs that are big or small, long hair or short hair, and anything in between. Senior dogs are also welcome! Our animals are all dog friendly so no worries there either! I have also trained my own service dog and he is phenomenal!

Love it, love it Joshua was awesome with Chico. My 🐶 had a accident before we got there, he had thrown up and Joshua bathed him, wash his bed and blanket. He also clipped his nails. He was awesome with him. I we'll be back again when Chico need to be babysit again. Thank you again Joshua.
Joshua has had our dog a couple times. Both times he did an awesome job! Our dog had a vet emergency (not from anything Joshua did) and he cared so well for him until we were able to get back. He really treated our dog like one of his own and it was a relief to know he was safe and well taken care of. Thank you, Joshua!!
Max had a great time. Joshua was easy to contact for boarding.
Despite my girl not quite acclimating to the environment, Josh was loving and caring to give her a rotation that worked. I am very happy with the love and care Josh took for her and my family. Highly recommend
