Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I have experience with taking care of almost every kind of dog; elderly dogs and a diabetic dog just to name a couple. My mom has been a Rover “Boarder” for many years, so I have experience with repeat customers and building connections with dogs and their owners.

Joshua took great care of our dog. He came two times and both times Chili was able to run and play. Having the 60min drop-in was awesome, it was so nice for Chili to get fed, walked, and have play time. Joshua also kept in touch though out the day and gave updates and pictures from the visits.
Joshua is a great caregiver for dogs. He has had dogs his entire life (total of 3) and absolutely loves spending time with them. He taking them for walks and going behind the house in the field and playing fetch, etc. He is very responsible and make sure they are fed at the proper times and is let outside frequently throughout the day.
Joshua is an amazing guy! He treats every pet like they are his own. He is a dog lover and is great with all types of breeds! Joshua has tons of energy which makes him a great dog owner and sitter!

I like to communicate with the dog owner on how they “parent” their dogs. I’m not a huge fan of walking into someone’s home and not having clear rules for the dog(s). I like there being trust between not only myself and the dog(s), but myself and the dog owner.

Eating times, do they get treats if they use the bathroom, location of supplies to clean up in-house bathroom accidents, location of collars and leashes, if they are good around other dogs.
A typical day
During a drop-in, if you’d like me to play with the dog (out in the yard for instance) please let me know, I’d be more than happy, just let me know where and or which toys they typically play with outside or inside. I like walking near ponds. If there is a dog park nearby and you’d like me to take your dog there to play, give me instructions on the normal routine you have with them, for instance, if they are good off the leash.

I’m currently on my college summer break and I’m taking a summer course, so I have plenty of time to devote to dog-walking and drop-ins.
