Hi there! My name is Josh and my life is dogs! I am so excited to be a part of the Rover pack and I'm looking forward to caring for your fur baby. Dogs have always had an important place in my family. I have always lived with animals and I can't imagine life without a canine family member or two. Caring for dogs and learning more about them is my passion and I take my responsibility to you and your pet very seriously. Alongside my personal animal experience, I have a lifetime of experience I bring with me to each and every stay with your dog. I first began learning of the caretaking of dogs when I was in middle school when I was responsible for the care of my neighbors two adorable Huskies. In high school, I really realized my passion for animal care and began volunteering at the Guilford County animal shelter. This experience taught me how to properly care for and manage many different breeds of canine and how to effectively approach dogs as each dog is an individual. While volunteering, I offered to foster a litter of puppies that were found without their mother. Raising these puppies was challenging but was truly an honor. The real challenge, however, was giving them back when the foster time had ended. Growing up with these opportunities taught me how to properly and lovingly care for and work with dogs and comprehend their mannerisms. I have a full range of experience with dogs in regards to size, age, and breed. My passion and knowledge for animal care are unmatched by most and I hope I can make lots of furry friends and help you travel without a worry.
