For the majority of my life, I've had both dogs and cats. At first I only owned two cats that I started taking care of personally when I was around eight years old. That meant feeding them, brushing them, cleaning their litter box as well as playing with them when they wanted attention. These same responsibilities passed on to our dog when we got her. I gave her walks, brushed her, and did everything that a kid could for as long as we had her. Then when I moved to college, I joined the equestrian club and interacted and worked with horses for a time. Essentially just showing how much that I love animals in all of their forms. I'm typically very good with them as well. I've met very few animals that don't like me on first glance and even less that don't like me at all. This is best demonstrated by my job as a dog bather. I am certified to clip dog nails, bathe them, and clean them on a professional level. I've done the work for two years now and I have worked in both corporations like PetCo as well as privately owned grooming salons. I've also taken work for my family and friends to wash their dogs without the hassle of going to a salon. It's the career I want to base my life around.
