First things first! My name is Joshua and my wife's name is Reid. I've had dogs most of my life and so has my wife! I grew up with golden retrievers and my wife grew up with labs and poodles! For both of us, our childhood pets have passed away and when we got married we looked forward to getting a pup together! We adopted Shug through All Aboard pet rescue here in Colorado a little over 2 years ago. She is a FANTASTIC playmate. She's spayed and extremely friendly. We live right next to Spring Canyon Dog Park in Fort Collins. We both work in schools and so we'll do daycare and boarding mostly on weekends and holidays. As of August 2017, we will consider boarding during the work week, but know we are away from the house approx 9 hours while working. Our pup Shug stays home and has access to the house and yard with an always open doggy door , so your pup would be hanging with her. Breaks/holidays/and weekends your pup gets us full time and has our FULL attention. If it's nice enough, we love to go hiking. We can take lots of trips to the dog park, and have a fenced back yard of our own, and a larger green space that our yard backs up to. If it's walking or a check in you want, we can do multiple walks per day and if your pup is staying overnight they'll be sleeping inside and we can provide a dog bed, but will gladly use any you provide. Crates as well! No matter what service you would like, we'd love to set up a meet and greet at your convenience so you can meet us, our dog Shug, and our home! *This account was first set up by my wife, Reid, as a customer. We had such a great experience with Rover that we decided we'd like to be sitters ourselves. So then I (Joshua) filled out the sitter profile and didn't realize it was already permanently linked to Reid! We've contacted support to fix this, but just wanted to clarify. We're a duo. :)
