I've raised dogs my whole life since I was a kid. 4.5 years ago, I adopted my own pup, Lily, from a humane society in Maine (who was an abused stray) and over those 4+ years, she's taught me so much about how to affectionately care for dogs. I deeply value the time that it has made me take to go on hikes/walks and has drawn a whole new appreciation for me for the outdoors. I've fostered dogs as well for up to 10 months at a time and have taken several training courses for general dog training and handling. Additionally, I do volunteer work for the local humane society where I have a great deal of interaction with dogs of all shapes/sizes and temperaments.
