My name is Joshua. I am a recent graduate from the University of California San Diego. I grew up on a farm in Kentucky by a dog shelter, so we had at least 4 dogs at all times. Dogs are part of your family, and when I watch them, I will show them the same love and respect I would my own dogs. I recently moved to Eugene with my girlfriend who is starting grad school at the University of Oregon, so my schedule is flexible to fit your hectic schedule. Joshua is so good with dogs! He's very gentle and patient with them and knows just how to get them comfortable and relaxed. Joshua is one of those people that dogs like right off the bat. My best buddy Harry is very picky about who he likes, so that often makes finding a sitter difficult, but he warmed up to Joshua immediately. I always say if Harry trusts someone, than I trust them too. I will be calling Joshua again soon!
Rilee & Winnie love Josh! Actually, I'm not sure who loves whom more -- Josh is so good with them! Every time he watches my fur babies, I know I never have to worry about them. They constantly receive love and affection, and stay very active. Thanks, Josh! Be expecting a message soon!

A typical day
It is important for the dog to understand that you are their friend. I love giving them treats (if allowed of course). Playing with them and their toys is always a great trust-builder. I like to give them a brush down at least once-a-day, so that their coat stays fresh. This also reduces a great amount of shedding. Walks are a must. Dogs love to be outside, and for that reason once in the morning and once at night is usually enough to satisfy their curiosity. This also helps to keep your loved one in a fit condition.
