Josh is a very sweet and considerate young man, who loves animals. For many years we had a dog--a long-haired German shepherd--with whom Josh was very close. Bear, as he was called, was extremely friendly with people, but was difficult when dealing with other dogs. He was a rescue dog, so we are not entirely sure of his backstory, but we believe he must have had some run-ins with other dogs which made him sometimes difficult to control when around other animals. Josh was incredibly patient with Bear, and able to work with our dog's anxieties. We also had other pets--some fish and a hamster--all of which were at Josh's instigation. Now that he is living on his own, he has his own pet: a lizard. Josh would be amazing looking after a dog, and he has done so for friends for several years. He is highly responsible, and manages to keep-up with his schoolwork while working, balancing out all of his responsibilities. Josh is definitely an animal-lover, and will be very kind and attentive to any dog he is helping to look after.
