House becomes a home with a Dog
Pet care experience
We have a large 10000sqft outdoor fenced space for dog friends to play. I frequent Shubie Park on walks almost daily so having some dog friends to accompany us would be a pleasure. I am more than comfortable handling any size and personality of dog having grown up with 2 large Ridgebacks, 2 Jack Russels, German Shepherd and a Black Mouth Cur. The house is spacious, warm and well suited to boarding and sitting pets. I do allow pets on the furniture but if that's a habit you would rather not teach your pup I will of course keep your training consistent. As well as any eating routines you have regarding treats and meal times. I love having dogs around the house and look forward to looking after yours.

After I met with Josh, I knew my dogs would be in good hands and have a lot of fun. And, I was right. Each time, I am delighted to see how exhausted my two active dogs after a long work day. Their needs are more than being met as they are free to wander his backyard and play all day. On top of that, he checks in and engages with them frequently. I highly recommend!
Josh has a way with dogs. He is the co-parent to our black mouth cur, Milo, and it never ceases to amaze me how well Milo listens to Josh. Josh clearly loves dogs, and spends hours playing with Milo and taking him on adventures as his sidekick. Milo has a deep respect for Josh that I cannot command, and I’m only slightly bitter that Milo favours Josh over me. I’ve seen Josh in action with other dogs he’s grown up with over the years and can recommend in full confidence that Josh provides the highest level of care and attention to his furry playmates.
Dogs have always been part of Josh's life. One of the first things he did when he moved here was to get Milo, his current dog. While he is firm with Milo and does not tolerate poor behavior he also has lots of fun with him. Milo and dogs in general really like him and enjoy being with him. Josh loves seeing dogs outside playing so his large back yard is fully fenced. The neighborhood he lives in is also quite dog friendly.
If you are looking for someone who loves the outdoors and being active, then Josh is your guy! He is great with all types of dogs, loves to get outside for adventures and has a great big fenced in yard on a lake in central Dartmouth. Josh has a super friendly dog named Milo, who loves to play with all types of dogs, big or small, and would love to meet your pup! I’ve spent lots of time with Josh and our dogs and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Josh as the perfect person to take care of your pup.
