Pet care experience
I worked with dogs and cats at Blue Ridge Vet for 4 years before my new job. I worked for the daycare service and in the kennel. I would walk 10 miles a day with dogs from 7am-11am. This would include everything from chihuahuas to mastiffs and puppies to elderly dogs. After the walks, I would help put together play groups and moniter for safe play time. In kennel I would be in charge of feeding, letting the dogs out, cleaning kennels, bathing, giving medication and everything in between. I've got a lovely dog of my own, so my skills are still honed in and ready to go. I still want to stay active in my life and I think this will be a great way to do so

Josh, or as we refer to him as the "dog whisperer" has a fantastic way of connecting with dogs and takes the time to really learn their "love language". He is attentive, caring, and compassionate. Josh has many, many years of experience as a kennel worker at our local vet's office, along with being a leader in the Doggy Daycare Center. Josh's knowledge gained at those two positions is very valuable. Any dog in Josh's care is a lucky dog.

I live on lake Frederick, so I can take your pets on walks around the lake and through the trails they have, or I can stick to your neighborhood if that’s what you’d prefer.

I’m currently only working part time as a photographer, so I have plenty of time to walk/care for your pets. I’ve got a flexible schedule and can make time for whatever you need.
