I am 26 years old and live and work in Louisville with a local startup! I am a huge dog lover who has grown up around dogs (always having a golden retriever or two at home) of all shapes and sizes. I miss having dogs around and am very interested in dog sitting in and around Louisville for anyone who needs help! I'm doing this because I love dogs and want to enjoy the company of dogs while also helping out any owners who don't want to kennel their dogs (and as a former dog owner, I definitely understand this)! Your dog will feel right at home with me, as I understand that each dog needs special attention and I am willing to accommodate all of the daily habits each dog is used to. It will be a vacation for your pooch!

Josh took care of our elderly golden retriever for a week while we were on vacation. Our dog requires daily medicines and mobility assistance and Josh handled all with care and responsibility. He was always quick to respond to texts and our meet and greet was easy to set up and went smoothly. We found Josh to be friendly, responsible and easy to work with. We would recommend.
Josh was really sweet with my dog Georgia. He was very communicative during her stay and I appreciated the pics he sent. When I picked her up, she even laid down like she wouldn't mind staying awhile longer- a good sign! I would definitely recommend trusting Josh with your pets.
Josh is just wonderful with dogs of all shapes and sizes and temperaments! He grew up with many dogs in his family (they now have three!) and he has worked consistently taking care of other people's pets and as a house sitter for many years. Josh is extremely respectful and responsible and will take care of your dog and your home as if they were his own. I highly recommend Josh!
Our three dogs love spending time with Josh and Zach. It's like a second home. They are very attentive and responsible sitters. Your dog will love them!

A typical day
I currently live in a spacious apartment in Crescent Hill that will give your dog plenty of room to run around and stretch out. I live very close to green spaces and Cherokee Park, both of which I frequent often and plan to do the same with your dog. I enjoy being outside and am happy to take your dog with me on walks in the park and through the neighborhood. Your pooch will have a very comfortable sleeping situation which, depending on your preference, can be his/her comfy dog bed or maybe even my bed! Additionally, your dog will never be lonely. I often work from home and my office, which allows dogs inside, is a quick drive. And let's just be clear: I'm the biggest dog lover and will never leave your dog alone for an extended period of time. I'm doing this because I want to hang out with some awesome K-9's, so they will get all the attention they deserve!
