Pet care experience

At Grateful Dog Studio I give your pet(s) one on one attention, walks, supplements and whatever else we decide will make them happy. Convenient Boarding: I am located a mile west of the airport; Socialization: I have a small, splendid group of friendly regulars for daycare. Exercise: As a husky owner I understand the needs of high-energy dogs. No one loves your pet more than you do; I provide a higher “quantity” of care for your pet to help him or her cope with your absence. I am up before dawn each day, very flexible and late flight arrivals are no problem. Pet care is not one size fits all. I adjust walks, feeding times and methods and exercise to meet individual pets’ needs. Ask as many questions as you need to; I am happy to answer them all.

Was available in a pinch for a same day booking, bloo had a lot of fun with the rest of the regular pack, all of the dogs were very friendly and playful and gave him a lot of exercise. We got much more photos and videos than we have from other dog sitters on rover which really helped ease our minds

Josh had a hard time getting Nanook to hook him up to a lead. All our fault. Nanook has never tried to bite anything. But because we hadn't trained him on A lead it call cause problems that only Josh would know how to deal with. He did it excellent upstanding job that we in my whole family appreciate his efforts and his family's efforts wholeheartedly we love this guy for what he tried to do for our dog while we were gone Nanook was returned safe and sound only a little shook up but like I said that was all our fault. Nanook came home to Play with five children under 6 years old happy endings

Information Josh E. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know a pet’s favorite treat and/or activity e.g. “Abby loves Minty Bones and can play fetch for hours!” I also need to know if your pet is friendly, how your pet does on car rides and if your pet is leash trained. Don't worry if your pet hates treats, refuses to play fetch, is cantankerous, will not set foot in a car and pulls like an ox on his or her leash; there is always a solution if the issue becomes a problem and the things our pets dislike are often some of their most endearing traits. I do not have a favorite breed and one of the benefits of the work I do has been getting to know so many different pets and their personalities.

A typical day

I often hike trails in and around Tulsa with my more active canine clients and spend about 15 minutes per day practicing basic commands. For the less active or very young ones I take them on walks in our neighborhood and we all play in the backyard a few times per day. Getting exercise is very important and I believe it helps dogs adjust to their new temporary surroundings and caretakers. And of course, snuggling is a major activity at our house, and my son's favorite!
