Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Josh and I have been around pets my entire life, so I'm very used to fur! I'm a very active person, I love traveling and exercising, and would greatly enjoy a new running buddy! I am available weekdays and most weekends. I have 2 dogs at the moment, a pit-bull/Lab mix who is 12 years old as well as a pit/Maltese mix who is two, and am used to all size dogs! I take my dogs to the Carrollton dog park almost daily (when weather permits), and would love to bring your dog as well! I am able to drive most places in steamboat springs, and would love to explore parks and trails with your dog! Thank you and have a great day!!

Josh is amazing, my dog loves it when he comes. He’s understanding on my dog excitement and his constant need to jump. Very sweet to him, completely trust him around our dog. Best walker we could’ve asked for.
Josh stayed at our place for 5 nights and was very caring to our 50 pound golden doodle, Koa. He played fetch daily with him, ensuring he got his energy out. Koa acted like it was a normal day when we got home from our trip which confirmed for us he was comfortable and well taken care of.
He was very patient with our rescue dog who gets scared.
Josh did a great job with our pup and was very respectful of our house as well. Definitely will have him back in the future! Thanks Josh!

I can’t have dogs where currently reside, but I can stay with your furry friends overnight in your home. I’ve found pets feel more safe and tranquil when they are able to stay in their own homes.

I believe consistency is key in a dog’s life, so I would love to know and be able to practice and implement the training and commands you use with your dogs. Also, knowing any behavioral and medical information about your pets up front will ensure we have a successful time together.
A typical day
As an active person, I’d love to take your dog for a run or a hike on one of my favorite trails: Emerald Mountain Black Mere or Fish Creek Falls. I also have experience with taking dogs to the off leash dog park—Rita Valentine.

I am currently working full time Monday-Friday. I am free all weekends and during the weekdays before 7am and after 4/ occasionally 5pm. I have a pretty flexible schedule
