I've lived with rescue dogs (permanent rescues as pets as well as fosters) for most of my life. I've also volunteered at animal shelters (primarily dogs and horses) and a wildlife rescue. I currently own a dog (and live with several) as well and a horse, a snake, and several cats. I have I have experience taking care of animals from a variety of backgrounds, and I'm capable of doing most tasks involved with looking after dogs: I can give medications, walk/run with dogs, take them to parks to play off leash (when appropriate), play with them in their home, do basic grooming (brushing, trimming, cutting nails), as well as accommodate any special dietary needs. I also have a car so if I dog is comfortable in the car, I'm happy to drive him to specific places for exercise or play.
