22 years ago in Manhattan, I began the best job a person could ever have in my book. I walked dogs, stayed with them when their people went away on vacation and looked after cats, birds, rabbits, lizards, snakes, ferrets, fish and any other lovely animal that was presented to me. I cared for all of them as if they were my own. I learned a lot about training dogs through a friend who is a certified dog trainer. I took many hours of classes in animal communication. Most of the clients that I had when I started my business 22 years ago, remained my clients after animal deaths as they would retain my services for the next pet. Animals are my entire life. I can't imagine ever doing something that could be as fulfilling as spending my entire day with animals. I am completely dedicated and devoted to any animal that is in my life. I love animals with all my heart and feel deeply connected with them. I have 22 years worth of references for anyone that desires them.

Jo is an absolute treasure and you won't find a more loving, caring, dependable Dog Carer / Walker anywhere! Every Dog will have the best possible care, be totally adored and have the most amazing, interesting walks! With her vast experience of over twenty years caring for and walking just about every breed of Dog and totally understanding each ones character , I would say what Jo doesn't know about Dogs, isn't worth knowing!! Jo has the most loving , caring , friendly and sunny nature and it's a privilege to know her.
Jo is quite simply the kindest, most dependable and well-liked dog walker I have ever known. She worked for me and my husband for nearly twenty years and our affinity for her never wavered. Jo is beyond loving and doting, caring for each dog she walks like he/she is her own. She is friendly to all and you would be hard pressed to find someone in a ten-block vicinity that doesn’t know her and truly like her. While she has not been with us for a year, I am still asked monthly by people in the neighborhood about her. She left an indelible mark on our family and our entire community. Few dog walkers (or anyone, for that matter) can claim that kind of adoration. We miss her terribly but hope she finds some new pets to love. You would be beyond lucky to have her care for your dog.
i have been a professional dog walker in NYC for 26 years and on many occasions Josephine covered for me when i was on vacation and she took over a few clients that were out of my work area....i never had anything but great feedback from all my clients about her. she is totally responsible and punctual and trustworthy and is a true pet lover. if i was looking to take on employees in my business she would be at the top of the list.
