Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, and hold myself to a high standard when it comes to caring for animals. I currently work 100% remote, so I am able to spend the entire day with your pets in order to give them the love, attention, exercise, and potty breaks they deserve. My husband is also 100% remote, and is with our dogs at our home all day, so I don’t need to run home and care for both your and my animals simultaneously. I also have set the standard that I will only be away from your pets for 2 hours max at any time. Maybe 4 hours total throughout the day. With that said, I give them AMPLE exercise before I leave to ensure they release any pent up energy / bathroom breaks so I feel confident it is ok to leave and run any errands. I typically take dogs on at least one hike and one neighborhood walk a day (of course this depends on energy levels, age, and your preference). I am not a certified dog trainer, but I have worked with both positive and negative reinforcement trainers for my own pets. Preferably, I feel very comfortable with positive reinforcement training. I have worked with all ages, all breeds, and all personality types, and feel confident I will give your animals the same admiration and attention I give my own dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
I give as much love to a client’s animal as I would my own. Lots of pets, lots of hugs. I have two dogs, Hank and Moose. The only concern bringing dogs to my place is that Moose has a 2/10 chance of being aggressive with other male dominant dogs. My only ask is if you need me to host your dog at my place, to have them meet beforehand. If it goes well the first time, there won’t be any issues moving forward. And if you’re comfortable having me stay at your home, that is the easier route. My husband is also 100% remote and stays at home with our dogs.

Information Josephine N. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know their temperament beforehand - if they do not like to play with other dogs and if so, what type of dog do they typically want to avoid. How often they get out on a daily basis other than a dog walker? How often are they socialized with other dogs and people? How often do they eat and do they have an issue sharing food? Are they house trained? Do they easily get car sick?
A typical day
I usually pick from taking my dog to a dog park, on a bike ride, or on a long local hike. I prefer to go to places where they can be off leash and run around with other dogs for a few hours and socialize. I also bring some chew toys along so they can have something to play with on the drive to our destination, at the play site, and on the way home.
