Updated April 2024 I have been a dog lover since I can remember! I have always taken great pleasure in taking care of my family members' dogs since I was old enough to go to pre-school. I have experience with sitting big dogs, little dogs and even puppies. I raised my 14 year old poodle from a 6 week old pup and she is truly my best friend. I'm great at potty-training, exercising energetic dogs and caring for dogs with special needs. Rover has also helped me to gain more experience with rescue dogs who need a little extra TLC. I understand the importance of providing emotional support to dogs with separation anxiety as my dog struggles with this as well. My rescue lab mix is a wonderful companion to dogs of all ages & sizes. I will care for your pet as if it were part of my own family. 🤙🏻I’m accepting personal referrals for house sitting spanning over most of the aina. Alika always has a great time with Josie, she takes the time to make sure he gets the exercise he needs as he is a boxer with high energy. In addition to walking Alika, Josie will also take him to the dog park nearby where he gets to play with his friends and/or makes new friends as well. Alika always returns with a smile and ready to rest.

Alika can’t wait to see Josie he just loves his time with her. Josie makes sure that Alika gets the exercise he needs and he returns home with a smile on his face ready to cool down and relax.
Alika gets so excited to see Josie. When he hears the phone ring and I buzz Josie up he barks and runs back and forth to the door and to me, wagging his tail. He’s a happy dog when Josie’s here.

House-sitting & Drop-In Visits: When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to follow their usual daily routine including: feedings, medications, walks & playtimes, dog park trips, potty routine, etc. I can also maintain duties around the house like pulling trash cans out, collecting mail & watering plants.

If the dog has any preferences, dislikes or fears towards certain people ie, children, people in uniform, men or women. I would also like to know of any allergies the dog may have. If a dog park is okay, does your dog have good social skills and are these social skills breed or size specific. Do you own or require a seat belt for your dog if it's decided that I will transport the dog anywhere. I love all breeds and have no preference.
A typical day
I can go for walks in your neighborhood or bring them to mine. I will also take your dog to the dog park if that is something you are comfortable with. I also like to bring my dog Money to walk or play with your pet which is great for high energy dogs. I’ve found that working on commands, practicing leash etiquette and using puzzle games is also great for their enrichment.

Availability
I have weekly walks & drop-in visits at lunchtime and my own pets which may require me to leave for 4-6 hours at a time. Being able to provide services to multiple clients at a time helps me keep my rates low. I understand some pets may need more supervision and/or have special needs, and when possible I do my best to accommodate them. NEW CLIENTS/ 2024 News: I am currently limiting my overnight stays to once per month, with possible up-charges for pets that require my full attention, meaning I cannot leave during the day to complete other drop-in visits or walks. Starting in 2024, 24-hour supervision starts at $100 per day. (Pets that cannot be left alone for 4 hours)
