Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Josie, I grew up with big dogs such as Great Danes to little dogs like terriers. I normally spend my free time hiking, painting, and fishing. I started dog sitting when I was 13 by watching my friends and family’s dogs such as my brothers German Shepard’s and my friend’s coonhound. I’m comfortable with all types of dogs, and know how to deal with reactive dogs as we used to have a Great Dane who struggled with aggressive outbursts and anxiety.
Reviews
We LOVE LOVE Josie!! She took care of both of our dogs like they were her own. Sent pictures and updates while we were away. We will not hesitate to call her again ?

Safety, trust & environment
My dogs at home are spoiled rotten, they get a special diet of dog food, dehydrated carrots, lamb patties, and on occasion pumpkin or Greek yogurt. We go on walks daily and I make sure they get to run around outside with each other and their toys. When I dog sit other peoples dogs I aim to take them on walks every day, and give them enough play time. If the owner has a special meal plan or medication that has to be given I stick to their plan, and I have mastered giving medicine to dogs!
Information Josephine C. would like to know about your pet
Information that would be important is temperament, certain commands, energy levels, how quickly they overheat, what they are reactive to, and how they walk, for example if they pull or lunge at certain things.
A typical day
My favorite ways to let your dogs get some energy out is by walking or running with them, playing fun games like fetch and tug-a-war! We’ll walk around the neighborhood and if it’s close we’ll head to the nearest park. A place I often go to let my friends boxer run around is the lindenwood cemetery. It is the perfect spot for a reactive or highly energetic dog to run around without having to worry about distractions.
