I’m new to Rover, but I’ve been that guy at parties in the corner with your dog or cat for years and years. Inside my community here in Austin, I’m the friend often asked to take care of older and or special needs dogs and cats. They ask me often because they know I get more out of it than I could ever give.

Joseph stayed with our pups again, this time for over a week. He was so respectful of our home, and took care of our dogs and fish. He was even able to get our senior dog to eat all his meals which we have trouble with ourselves! Any time we need to be out of town we will be reaching out to Joseph first! Thank you!!
Joseph stayed overnight with our two dogs - one elderly and one that's a bit high maintenance because of fear issues. The dogs loved him and we will be having him back to house-sit for a longer period very soon! Thanks Joseph!

Before we get started, I want to make sure I understand any boundaries your pet has, and how to make them most comfortable while you’re away. When do they eat, when do they have zoomies, what are their favorite treats, who are their other puppy friends or if they’re better solo.
A typical day
I know how important play is for pets, so I set aside lots of time to wear them out so they sleep well. We’ll go on all the walks and explore places around your home and mine.

I’m currently working full time remotely, so I’m available to care for your pets anywhere and any time except 10am to noon on weekdays thanks to the flexibility in my work schedule. I plan my day around what’s best for your babies!
