Pet care experience
I have been surrounded by dogs all my life from small dogs, such as dachshunds, to larger dogs, such as Neapolitan mastiffs. I've also volunteered at an animal shelter in Tallahassee, FL as a walker. I have my own dog is the sweetest and dopiest guy ever. I adopted him from a rescue when he was 5 months old, and stay in touch with the adoption agency. I've dogsat for many families and friends over the years. I took a break from doing it the last 2.5 years, but looking to getting back to meeting new four legged friends.

Joe was a fantastic dog sitter! He took great care of our giant baby, and left the house in better shape than I did 😂 we have a 130lb Great Dane puppy who’s too much to handle for most people. But Joe took diligent care and watched/walked him without a hitch. 11/10 would love to have him back

I generally keep things that are potentially harmful out of reach. While I don't have a crate, you're more than welcome to bring one. I do ask that your dog be somewhat recently bathed if they have a pretty strong dog smell. If you're comfortable with me giving your dog a bath, happy to do that as well.

I try to be considerate of my neighbors. If your fur baby barks a lot, then it might not be a match. Moderate barking of course is okay! Mine tends to bark a lot when new company comes over. If there's any medication needs, please let me know. I'm happy to take care of that while you're away.
A typical day
Walks around our complex and up and down a private road are common activities. Occasionally we might go to a dog park, if that's something you're comfortable with.

Friday through Monday I'm available all day. Although I'm in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays, I do come home for lunch to let out my dog.
