I don’t think that there’s anything better than the love and companionship that a dog brings into our lives. They are always so giving and selfless—and that’s what inspired me to be a dog sitter in the first place! I believe that it’s my duty to make sure that every pup in the world feels completely safe and happy. Thankfully, bringing smiles to dogs’ faces is just what I do best! I just love being able to help pups in need of a trusted home while their owners are away. I’ve been lucky enough to be a long-time dog owner. I currently own two Huskies and they are my world! One is a PTSD service dog while the other is just a companion dog. I have been training dogs for over 7 years and love seeing the relationships of fur families grow strong and healthy. I’ve learned so much in the process, and have always loved training dogs to become friendly and loving pups. I’ve also volunteered with shelters in the past to help them address dogs with aggressive personalities, which I found so rewarding and amazing. I’m just committed to speaking a dog’s language! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When your pup is under my care, I believe that regular communication is the best way to ensure everyone’s happiness. I love getting as much information as possible before taking on a new pup so that I can find out just what makes them tick! I’m always happy to adhere to any and all schedules and regimens that your pup is on. Dogs are creatures of habit, so sticking to what they know is a great way to keep them happy and comfortable. I’ll also send plenty of regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun we’re having together! We’ll make sure to go on tons of adventures, so there will always be some good photo opportunities.
