I’m Joseph, a pet owner and lover of all animals. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and rodents. I’m both knowledgeable and comfortable with walking, grooming, feeding, playing with, and caring for pets. I’ve volunteered at several animal shelters where I’ve been trained in walking, boarding, sitting, and general caretaking. I’m able to adjust to any type of pooch regardless of their breed or personality, and I quickly build a trusting rapport that makes both my canine and human clients comfortable with the care I provide. My friends refer to me as a dog whisperer! I currently have an extremely sweet pup named Cairo who gets along with all humans and animals. I’ve been sitting, walking, and fostering dogs since I was 11 years old. I also started volunteering at animal shelters around that time. Over the years, I’ve spent time at dozens of shelters and will continue to do so. I live in a very large and comfortable apartment. There is plenty of room for my furry guests to run around and get exercise or to simply lounge on my big, comfy sofa. I also live near several parks that are great for taking dogs for walks. My home is a safe and welcoming environment for animals. When I commit to boarding a pooch, I stay home with them for their entire stay. I am a full-time dog sitter, walker, and boarder. My schedule is dedicated to taking care of canines. When I pet sit, I’m available to the owners 24/7. I am an excellent baker of doggie treats, but I always get permission from the owner first before offering them to a pet.

Within seconds of meeting a new pup, I’m able to pick up on their vibe and provide customized care based on their unique temperament. Before taking care of your pooch, it is helpful to know about their eating schedule, physical activity requirements, allergies, and any medical conditions they may have. I’m an active person and can offer as much or as little exercise as a dog needs while in my care.
A typical day
I’ll be with your dog during their entire stay. This prevents pups from feeling scared or lonely in a new environment away from their owners. I’ll treat your fur baby as if they are on a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. I’ll always listen to your recommendations on where you’d like me to walk your dog. For example, some canines might be triggered in large crowds, so if that were the case with your pet, I would avoid that type of environment. If you don’t have any restrictions about where I can walk your pup, I might take them to some of the beautiful parks in Chelsea or along the Hudson River. As a full-time dog sitter, I am committed to each and every animal I look after. I’ll carefully read all of the instructions you provide me about caring for your pet. I’ll also provide you with daily updates during our time together.
