I’ve been taking care of foster dogs since I was ten. We did long stays for soldiers getting deployed and stays as short as a day. I spent two years as a volunteer at animal shelters, where I regularly walked animals, cleaned cages, and did basic grooming. I’ve personally owned dogs from the size of a Beagle to A Great Perinese so size is NOT an issue in the slightest. Personality isn’t either, we’ve owned dogs that range from too shy to even come out their crates at points to dogs that stay outside and don’t like being inside. Literally any dog is okay.
