Walks and drop-in visits require safe circumstances agreed upon by both parties. I've lived my entire life with animals, starting with cats and progressing through Guinea Pigs, Anoles, Fish, Chinchilla's, and finally dogs. My last two dogs were Bichon rescues from shelters and one had severe social and behavioral problems from previous mistreatment. The first dog was very friendly, social, and tolerant and was good with other dogs and children. The second dog required help from professionals and years of patient, diligent work to improve his quality of life. My experience with both extremes of behavior prepared me for walking and dog sitting friend's and family's dogs. I’m a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Cinema Art & Science and the nature of my work, and situation, at the moment allow me the time to help you with dog(or cat) care. I am raising a(now) nearly 20 week old puppy. He has all his vaccines and loves to socialize. My goal in spending time with your pet is to let them be comfortable being themselves. I love individual pet's personalities and quirks, and endeavor to be as empathetic and helpful with whatever their needs; be they athletic or comforting. With new pets I value my patience and experience, and give them the time to find what makes them comfortable on their own terms. I understand and value professionalism, and don't cut corners.
