Pet care experience
I've helped foster both cats and dogs with my family since I was twelve. We've adopted dozens of strays over my lifetime, and helped injured exotic animals get to wildlife rescue organizations half a dozen times.

When I moved out, I only took with me my own cat Mercury. Currently, I also help care for my sister's two indoor cats as well as her outdoor cat. However, I've also helped care for medium-sized dogs in fenced backyards, pythons in terrariums, turtles in aquariums, and injured birds and birds of prey.

Medical history and the dog's temperament are very important. Things like favorite toys and commands it can respond to can also make carrying for any dog easier.
A typical day
I'd ask the owner what the dog likes to do, and play with the dog accordingly. If it likes to play fetch, I'd play with it in the backyard for instance. If it likes walks, there are quite a few nice parks in San Antonio I can take them to.
