Pet care experience
Hello my name is Joseph or Joe for short. I received my first dog at the age of 16 after years of begging my parents and immediately fell in love with the entire idea of being a dog parent. Prior to that, I had been taking care of my next door neighbors dogs’ (beagles) by taking them out for walks, and allowing them to go out after I got home from school before their parents got home. I have been around dogs most of my life, with family members (Huskies, German Shepard’s, chihuahuas, etc.) and any friends ( Jack Russell terriers, pitbulls, dachshunds ) because I needed to go and pet their dogs every chance I got. I attended puppy classes with my mom and the dog (black lab) I received at 16 mentioned above. I moved out at 25 with my girlfriend and we got a black lab puppy (Maisie) almost immediately. A year later we got a second dog, a golden retriever puppy (Luna). I’m 27 now, along side my beautiful girlfriend Jessica mentioned above, and we now live in our first home in Largo, FL and we couldn’t be happier with our pet family. Maisie is 1.5 years old, and Luna is 6 months. Maisie is spayed, and Luna will be when she is old enough. I would love to continue to love and care for every dog that I am fortunate enough to cross paths with. I absolutely love and adore all dog breeds, small or large and everything in between. I promise and guarantee to treat any other persons dog The same way I treat my own - with love, caring, and the occasional treat 😊

Joe has done pet watching for me in the past and is very attentive and loving toward the animals. He has two dogs of his own but treated my dog like his own as well. Highly recommend using him as he is trustworthy, attentive and the dogs love playing with him.

I’ve known Joe for 7 years and he’s always been an animal lover! He has two dogs of his own and takes such good care of them. One of the two most spoiled pups I know actually! He’s very knowledgeable in the dog world and knows all about them. I highly recommend Joe, he’s trustworthy, responsible, and will love your pup as much as you do!
Joe has grown up in a family with dogs and now has 2 dogs of his own that he loves dearly. He watches my dog Sophie all the time and cares for her just like one of his own. I would trust Joe with all of my pet needs without hesitation. He is very responsible and timely with any request. Definitely recommend!

I have a fenced in backyard provided with multiple toys, a doggie pool (constantly supervised and no more than a foot deep), a sprinkler, and a giant tree that provides shade throughout the entire yard. I also have 3 bedrooms and tile floors throughout the house should the dogs decide to take a nap in the A/C. I live on a dead end cul de sac in a quiet neighborhood that allows for great walks! The dog park is a short drive away should the owners be okay with the travel. I have 2 dogs; black lab Maisie (1.5 years old) and a golden retriever Luna (6 months old) both of which just love to play with any and all dogs. Typically Maisie likes to be chased, and Luna likes to be the chaser. Keep away is their favorite game, then tug of war with pretty much any toy. There has NEVER been an incident where either of them have been territorial, or too rough with any dog including each other. Maisies best friend prior to move was a pitbull terrier named blue that outweighed her by almost 60 pounds.

A typical day
Being in Florida, it is important to me to keep the dogs well being in mind. Shaded areas, beaches, water spots, cool places, anything that keeps the dogs happy!!
