I work weekdays but usually finish by 3 PM, so I’m available for afternoon potty breaks, walks, playtime, or cozy cuddle sessions or whatever your pet prefers! On weekends, my schedule is wide open, giving me plenty of time to provide companionship, exercise, and lots of attention. Pet care easily fits into my routine, and I love making sure your furry friend feels happy and loved while you’re away.

I treat every pet and home as if they were my own, with love, respect, and attention to detail. I’m mindful of your privacy and space, always cleaning up after myself and keeping things tidy. I’ll strictly follow your pet’s feeding schedule, walking routine, medication needs, or any special instructions to help them feel secure and happy while you’re away. During house sits, I also bring in mail, water plants if needed, and ensure your home stays safe and welcoming for your return.

I really want to make sure your pet feels comfortable and happy while you’re away, so here’s what helps me do that best: Their normal daily routine (when they eat, go for walks, or need potty breaks) -What they love doing: favorite toys, walks, cuddles, or just chilling on the couch -Anything that might make them nervous or upset (loud noises, new people, etc.) -Any medications, allergies, or special health needs. I’ve given daily meds to my senior dog before, so I’m comfortable helping with that -Where they like to sleep and if they have a favorite blanket or bed How they usually get along with other pets or strangers I’ll ask you questions during our Meet & Greet so I can keep things as close to normal as possible for them. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can take care of your pet and give you peace of mind while you’re gone.
A typical day
I love making sure every pet has a great time while you’re away! Depending on what your furry friend enjoys most, we can go on fun walks or little adventures around the neighborhood sniffing all the best spots. We can play with their favorite toys like fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, or chasing a laser for cats! We can have cozy cuddle sessions on the couch or bed with plenty of belly rubs and ear scratches. We can practice easy tricks with treats if they’re into that. Or we can just relax together because sometimes lounging and watching the world go by is the best kind of fun. I always follow your pet’s lead and stick to what makes them happy and comfortable. My goal is for them to have a fun, stress-free stay and maybe even miss me a little when you get back!

I’ve loved and cared for pets my entire life. I began pet and house sitting in high school, and after college I regularly walked my neighbor’s dogs while she was at work. Most recently, I was lucky to share over 13 wonderful years with my own dog, Rue. As a senior, she needed daily medication for her health issues, giving me valuable experience with senior pet care and administering meds. Though Rue sadly passed from cancer in November, the joy she brought me inspires me to keep giving that same love and attention to other pets. I’d be honored to help you travel worry-free, just like trusted Rover sitters did for me and Rue in the past.

Joseph has dog sit for us on several occasions. He is communicative and professional, follows whatever instructions you provide. He is an excellent pet sitter and we would highly recommend him. You can’t go wrong picking Joseph.
Joe was so wonderful with my 2 dogs. One was quite old and needed extra attention to needs and meds while the younger was much more energetic and needed more playtime. I saw him not only interact with my dogs but his own dog and cat. I can’t recommend Joe enough I would trust him with all of my pets, he is an excellent caregiver.
Joseph is very trustworthy... loving, caring and kind and will give your pets the attention they deserve when you are away. You will have peace of mind knowing that Joseph is on the job!
Joe is an exceptionally kind human. He has been a great dog owner for almost 14 years. He has cared for my own dogs like they were his own. His spirit is so gentle animals and children love him. I highly recommend Joe for pet sitting your dog!
