I've had several dogs throughout my life and have a great understanding of all types of breeds I've had pitbull, Siberian husky, German shepard, Maltese, toy poodle and most recently a Boston terrier I ended up giving to my niece as a first pet. They've been happy companions and the only reason I don't them now is they passed of old age or I had to give them up due to moving to a smaller home.
