I owned a Shih Tzu for about 14 years, and I have cared for small breeds (Yorkis, Chihuahuas) and larger dogs (Labradors, Rottweilers). I've always been good at being introduced to dogs, natural dog person who likes to play with them. I have also cared for sick dogs in hospice, as wellnas dogs who are in recovery. My experience with my dogs is well varied, from veterinarian visits to basic bathing and grooming. I owned my dog in good health for many years (he now lives with my parents but I still visit him). I am accustomed to work in routines with an emphasis in evenings and weekends. I don't mind staying over to fully care for your dog! I have references on this if needed!
