I am an accountant who has worked as a veterinary technician and a groomer before. I have a dachshund and a border collie who are my pride and joy. I have years of experience caring for other people and my own animals. I am comfortable with all types of animals and all types of diets. I would be happy to care for your loved one like he/she was my own. I also have experience with whelping (pregnant animals) and would be comfortable caring for such while you are gone. About this sitter: I own a wonderful dachshund. He is extremely fun, loves other dogs, and likes to make a mess (who doesn't!). I also have a female border collie. I have worked at multiple vet clinics, as well as grooming centers and pet shops. I can medicate animals, walk, clean litter boxes, and more. I have experience with all types of dogs and am a certified dog trainer. I have worked at a grooming salon, multiple veterinary clinics, a pet store, and have had dogs for over 15 years. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs for over 15 years. I have experience working in the medical fielding, grooming, kenneling, training, and more. I have had experience with raw diets and with specialized diets as well. Meet my pets My home is a single story house close to lots of parks and walking paths. We have a large fenced in back yard with a pool and a doggy door to allow for access to outside potty breaks anytime. We spend a lot of time outdoors. About my yard We have a fenced in large yard in a suburban neighborhood with a pool and a doggy door. My experience administering medication I am very comfortable administering medication, whether orally or under the skin. I work from home, so I am available all day every day for your animals. IF they are boarding with us, someone is home 95% of the time. If I am stopping into your place, I will discuss your scheduling needs with you on a 1:1 basis. I have a fenced in yard that dogs have access to anytime someone is home, with a doggy door. If we are not home, the dogs are required to go in a kennel for their safety. We will walk dogs around the neighborhood if they enjoy it and the weather permits.

We needed care for our one year old Gigi for 12 days/nights. We’ve never left her that long so we were concerned. Joscelyn sent us updates and pictures almost every day to reassure us that Gigi was adjusting well in her home. I would definitely highly recommend Joscelyn and we will request her again for future dog sitting needs.

As a new dog owner, I have grown super attached and very protective of my little guy Dezel. After meeting with Joscelyn to see if Dezel would be a good fit, I had no doubt that he would be in good hands. Joscelyn communicated very well and even sent us pictures of how he was doing. She was very patient with Dezel and really cared about his well being. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family!

I love all dogs of all shapes and sizes. I like to know before I sit a dog is what kind of dog is it, meaning is it playful or cuddly? Hyper or slow? Just a little information can go a long way. Is the dog potty trained? Is the dog comfortable in a crate? Is the dog food or toy aggressive? Is the dog good with other people, other dogs, or cats? Has the dog been around babies/small children?
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We walk our dogs around our suburban neighborhood. If the weather is nice we may go swimming to expend more energy Your dog's sleeping arrangement In a provided crate Time I'll spend with your dog If they are staying at my own place of residence they will have over 12 hours of companionship, we have 3 adults and a baby that live here. IF they are at your own home, we will discuss visits and times. Time I'll spend with your dog The time I spend on the dog depends on the dog themselves. A hyperactive dog may require a little more time to get them to calm down than a lazy dog who just wants some loving. We will discuss this when we meet. Extra house-sitting services I am willing to do small addition tasks like water the plants, bring in the mail, ect.

Availability
I work from home so I’m able to come visit your pet anytime you need. I spend 30 mins at each visit which includes potty break, scratches, food or litter change as needed, and we can discuss walks as needed.
