My name is Jorie Clawson. I have worked with dogs my whole life. I worked at a dog daycare in Edwardsville, IL for 3 years while in college. I am originally from Chicago, and worked at a dog daycare there for about 3 years throughout high school. I also have experience fostering dogs for local shelters. I have experience with dogs of all shape, sizes, temperaments and needs. It is my DREAM to one day open my own dog daycare that doubles as a shelter, so I am currently taking related courses online to continue my education about dogs. And until I can make my dream a reality, making your fur babies part of my pack is the next best thing. 😊 My boyfriend and I both work from home so your pup will have constant supervision and love. I do have a dog of my own, he is well trained and loves all other dogs. Your dog becomes a part of our family during its stay. We are crazy dog parents ourselves so adventures that don’t allow our furry friends to join are a no go. We do as many dog friendly adventures as we can-your pup will have a blast being a part of our pack. We are also a very active family. We go on at least two walks a day, and frequent a beach day. I know how it feels to leave my Furr baby and I can promise you that your dog will be treated like my own during their stay. I can promise you that they will have an amazing time but I can’t promise you that I won’t try to keep them by the end of their stay! 😆

Great experience! Jorie took great care of our dog Onie. Lots of walks and hang out time with her dog Emitt. Kept us in the loop with pictures daily....was really nice to see what Onie was up to and knowing she was doing well while we were away. Felt confident that Jorie would treat our dog like her own after our initial meeting....will definitely re-book with Jorie in the future.
Jorie was great with my dog and wonderful about sending me pictures throughout the day!
Our experience with Jorie was fantastic. She took such good care of our Mochi and we will be continuing to use her services for now on. She has a fur baby of her own and our Mochi and him became ultimate besties post stay. Accommodations were great and included multiple dog parks.
Our experience with Jorie could not have been any better. We were in need of a dogsitter last minute and I am glad that we ended up with her. She was very communicative throughout the day and sent a lot of pictures/videos. Brewer got to do so many activities, he probably didn't even want to come back with us!

We live in an house downtown but as mentioned before we spend a lot of time outside. Our daily routine with our dog Emitt is a walk in the AM before work, a walk in the PM after work and many play break intermissions during the day. We also have a fenced in dog park that we will only utilize when it’s empty while your dog is with us.

Let me know if your dog has any needs or special instructions that I should account for. We do have an extra cage, bowls and leashes just due to having fosters. So bring what you want but we have back ups just in case.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs both physically and mentally. With our resident dog we go on 2 walks a day, no less than 1 mile each(but are happy to modify based on the dogs needs) . We also love to go to dog parks and the BEACH! Being that we are crazy dog parents ourselves, we rarely go anywhere that doesn’t allow our furry family members to go. That being said, the adventures are plentiful.
